OUR PHILOSOPHY

Our philosophy is simple—do it right the first time.

Whether it be new construction or remodel I work with each client on a personal basis to get the best understanding of their vision, striving to deliver a matching product and when possible even surpass those expectations, treating each job as it is, an individualized experience in which I’m given the opportunity to help create for them a home from which to set their roots and branch out into life. My philosophy for work is to change the old adage of thinking outside the box to looking at the situation as there is no box and to push the boundaries of ordinary and seek to create something as new, exciting and unique as the client themselves. I’m a contractor who values transparency on a project, understanding that there are seldom two things more personal to us than our home and the money we use to fund our adventure through life and believe that when I am chosen for a project it is my responsibility to communicate with the client not only about the products and processes being used but also to keep them as informed and involved throughout each step of the project as they prefer to be.

RYAN BALLARD, CRAFTSMAN

I was born and raised in the small town of Prosser, Washington, growing up on a small, family owned and operated orchard where I learned the value, ethics and importance of hard work and doing things right. I entered the construction trades in 2003 and to this day am fortunate that I found a career there that I am passionate about and continues to interest me to this day. Years of working in the field have given me the type of skill set that only comes from the actual physical experience of being hands on, an intimate grasp on how something is, can or should be done. I don’t view the projects I work on through the lens of someone portraying a contractor, I am an actual contractor with the personal experiences to answer the questions my clients pose, whether it be something as simple as can a wall be moved to open up a room or how best to layout the design of a new set of kitchen cabinets. Over the years I have keenly listened to the other contractors, suppliers and designers I’ve worked with to help increase my knowledge and understanding of the multiple aspects of the residential construction world, all to better help my clients and myself in the projects I am fortunate enough to be a part of.

Resilience comes from having been given the opportunity to work through the most challenging problems.
